This report is currently in BETA phase which means that we would like to gain your feedback to help us refine it, before it is officially launched in the New Year.
If you would like to be part of our research, simply sign up to our Product Discovery Program or comment on this idea. We will then contact you again in January to gather your ideas and feedback to make this report even better.
With thanks and well wishes for the holiday season, the Sonar Product Team.
I've seen lots of the feedback implemented already which is really great. Feedback from multiple schools is that they'd like to be able to print the Single Pupil Overview for a whole class at a time - having to select a single pupil, print, then select the next will be time consuming. It's something schools are used to being able to do in Target Tracker.
The additional options to show formative objectives does not show when the school has a customised curriculum can this be factored into the report so that assessment can be viewed as this feature is great for sharing with parents in parents evening etc.
Would it be possible to have the option to remove the Aut 1 column in the report - many schools don't add data in this term so it is presented as 'significantly below' which is not we want to present to parents.
I think the ability to gain additional information at child specific level via this report is great. However it's not currently user friendly as a vehicle for creating a parental report. We would need to be able to access all reading, writing and maths statements on one report in an easy to access format to make this usable for teachers to run. At the moment it's to laborious and time consuming needing several reports for each child.
We have not been able to sent our any termly parental progress reports since moving from O'Track to Sonar so the sooner this is possible the better.
Feedback from a school that it would be useful to be able to select multiple subjects when running the formative reports. Currently it is time consuming for teachers to have to run the report for each strand within a subject.
I also think it would be useful to have an objectives filter as we do in the formative entry screen so that staff could report on the specific objectives taught that term.
The additional reports available are great and will be very useful for schools. It would be good to have these as stand alone reports accessed from the report menu. To access the list of statements achieved for a pupil in a specific subject is 4 clicks, after opening the ARO report, which seems long-winded particularly if you needed to create this for several pupils.
